Vedika goes to the jeweller to sell her mother’s gold jewellery, only to realise that they are fake. As the jewellery shop owner accuses her of dishonesty, Vedika leaves the shop crying.

Badi Amma declares that anyone who sides with Sahil is her enemy. Meanwhile Sahil is trying to convince Vedika to let him stay in her house on rent. Much to Vedika’s dismay, Vedika’s mother agrees.

Panday creates a ruckus in the community about Vedika renting out the room to a young boy Sahil. After realising that Anjana has been helping Sahil financially, Badi Amma decides to give the responsibility of the house to Anjana.
