The Board stated that 1,595,779 students took part in the test held in 708 Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres across 105 exam cities. Candidates are now able to Send “UTME RESULT” or “UTMERESULT” via SMS to 55019 or even 66019 using the same phone number that they have registered for (ensure you have an account with a minimum amount of N50). You will receive a response via SMS within a few minutes. Expect to receive the following replies:
- If a potential candidate dials an unregistered telephone number and is registered, they’ll receive a message that states: “This phone number was not used for registration.“
- Successful candidates will receive an email: “Dear Mr/Miss X, your result is as follows… (followed by the details).“
- The candidate will be notified of the “Result Withheld” message if a result is not released.
- Candidates given the benefit of the doubt will be informed: “Result withheld pending the upload of clarifications/document required from you.“
