New Date for WAEC May/June 2020 Exam Announced
The Minister of State for Education, Emeka Nwajuiba, has Revealed the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) will Currently hold from August 4 to September 5, 2020.
He also made this known on Monday through the everyday COVID-19 Presidential Task Force briefing.
The minister added that the local timing for the WAEC examination will be published soon.
According to him, “From tomorrow this is part of what we are taking into our concluding stakeholder meeting with NCDC, Nigeria union of teachers, NUT, and everybody will be at the concluding stakeholders meeting tomorrow and these dates are what we are going to take into the meeting.
“We will be asking that those who are not prepared yet should please go and prepare.”
“The idea is we have a month from now till August 4, so the states who are willing should make their schools available for their children to revise,” he said.
The minister also revealed that registration for NECO will continue for those who have not concluded registration to complete theirs.
He appealed to candidates to prepare for their examinations.
