(Kind, crazy & cold-hearted)

Mi cha (Cold-hearted)
I walked along the corridors, coming across a lot of agents – most of which were just parading the place.
“Hey boss-baby” some of the boys called out to me but I didn’t even smile at them.
Well, I only smile when necessary and that’s mostly when I’m on a mission that requires me to smile.
I took the stairs to the second floor and met them there at the balcony.
There were a lot of them and all seemed to be having fun – nattering, dancing and smoking.
“Boss-baby” one of the ladies there called out to me as soon as she spotted me.
They looked surprised. Well, that’s because I don’t mingle.
“Jin” I called out to who I was there for.
She dropped her glass of wine and came to meet me, still having a litted cigarette with her.
“Hey, wats up?” She asked when she got to where I was.
I didn’t say a word as I took her away from the others, going far from there.
When we were far enough and in a quiet place, I stopped walking and turned to face her.
“I need your help, Jin” I said, lowly.
“Um…okay. What is it?” She asked.
I looked around and sighed.
“I need you to get me the s*x pills. Its important. I need to take them right away.
“You know Josh is around and he doesn’t want me to leave the building. But if you leave, no one would question you and that’s why I need you to do it for me. Can you?” I asked and she kept mute for some seconds.
“Uh…” She itched her head.
“Of course, sure. I’ll get it”
“Thanks” I said coldly and she left.
I took in a deep breath and watched her leave. I just hope Josh doesn’t find out about this because if he does…I’m dead.
Kim ji (Kind)
Mum and I returned home with heavy bags and immediately, I rushed to the toilet to free myself. I was so pressed right from the mall.
When I was done, I hurried back to the sitting room so I could assist mum with the things we got from the mall.
On reaching there, I found her looking moody, with her phone in her hand.
Oh, God! What happened? Why’s she looking this way?
“M…Mum?” I called, looking at the phone in her hand.
Don’t tell me she went through the calls…
“I just got off the phone with your principal” she said and I heaved a sigh of relief.
Thank goodness it had nothing to do with the call nana and I made
But, what about the principal?
“Why did you lie to me, Kim?” She asked and my heart skipped.
“You told me your suspension would be over by monday, but the principal just told me you were suspended for two weeks and that’s because you didn’t just beat up his son like you said, but you actually broke his head and made him end up in an hospital! Kim!” She half yelled and tears almost came running to my eyes.
Oh, my God! Why did nana do such a thing?? I mean, was she that troublesome?
“What exactly do you want me to do, Kim? I tried talking to him, but he wouldn’t listen and insists you stay away from school for two weeks. Do you know what that means??? You won’t be going to school for two weeks, Kim! Two weeks! Is this what you want for yourself?”
I bent my head to the floor in sombre.
Oh, my! She’s so mad at me. But I didn’t do it. How can I tell her? She shouldn’t stay mad at me – please.
“I’m…I’m sorry, mum” I winced and she huffed and moved her hair backwards.
“Well, your apology can’t change the principal’s mind. I’ve warned you countlessly about this attitude of yours, but you wouldn’t listen. Do you really want to keep hurting me this way?” She asked and I shook my head dolefully.
I suddenly felt bittered.
How am I sure nana isn’t causing havoc with my name in Seoul?
Just then, we heard a knock on the door.
“Who’s it?” Mum asked, tiredly.
“Its me, Hannah” a woman’s voice replied and mum’s eyes beamed.
“Hannah! Please, come in ” she said excitedly and the door opened, revealing a young pretty woman.
“Take these bags to the kitchen” she whispered to me before turning back to look at her visitor.
I quietly carried the bags to the kitchen, feeling really bad.
Kim nana (Crazy)
I stood in the kitchen and munched on a loaf of bread.
Gosh! The bread was divine?!
It was so soft, yet thick and milky!! I’ve never tasted a bread like this before and I can’t believe it.
I ate with my eyes closed, enjoying the moment.
I reached for the fridge and took out another cold bottle of drink. I actually consumed one some minutes ago.
I opened the drink and started gulping it down.
Sh*t! This was so good. I can’t explain it.
I kept the drink on the table and took in more bread. Then, digested it with some gulps of the cold drink.
Seriously, if I had grown up as Kim ji instead, I’d have had the shape of ten people!
Suddenly, the door opened and I turned to see the jerk of a step brother coming in
Grrr. I really don’t need anyone to ruin this moment.
I turned back to my half – heaven combo and continued eating.
“Hey, you” he called angrily as he got to where I was.
I didnt even spare him glance or act like he was standing next to me.
“Why the hell did you speak rudely to me a while ago?” He asked but I still remained silent as I gulped in some drink.
“Hmmm” I hummed and licked my fingers.
“Are you deaf?” He snorted but I still didn’t look at him.
“Hey! I’m talking to you!” He snapped and and turned me roughly by the hand.
“Have you gone crazy?” I squealed and forced my hand away from his.
“Did…Did you just ask me that?” He asked in disbelief, pointing to his chest.
“You’re really so bent on ruining my evening, huh?”. I asked angrily and took up the bottle of drink, pouring it on him.
He gasped in shock.
“I’m trying so hard to stay away from you but since you want trouble, trust me, I’ll make you run mad” I snapped and the door opened immediately, revealing a young pretty woman who looks like him
She should probably be his mother.
She opened her mouth in shock at the sight in front of her.
“M…Mal-chin?” She called, surprised
I kept the bottle on the table and headed for the door, taking the bread with me.
“What the hell’s going on here?” She asked and when I got to where she was, she blocked the door.
“If you don’t get out of my way, I’m gonna smash this bread into your fat face” I told her and forced my way out of the door, brushing her arm.
Kim ji (Kind)
I arranged don’t things mum and I got from the mall into the kitchen. They were kind of cheap food items – the likes of which I didn’t grow up to eat. But, I don’t have a problem with it.
As long as I’m with my mother, I’m okay. I don’t care if I have to live cheaply or not.
When I was done arranging the things, I tried going to my room and on my way, I overheard mum and the visitor discussing in the sitting room.
I didn’t want to eavesdrop, but the visitor’s words suddenly gripped my attention and I stopped to listen.
“So, they’re in need of a cook for two weeks and I was thinking you’d be chanced to do it because the pay is quiet awesome. You know how wealthy they are”. The woman said to mum.
Huh? Who’s in need of a cook?
“I understand, Hannah, but I don’t think I can do it. I mean, its just for two weeks right? If I quit my job as a janitress, then how what will I do when the two weeks is over? You know how difficult it was getting that job in first place” mum grouse.
“Yes, yes, I understand. I thought about it as well but just decided to inform you. No problem, then. Maybe some other time. I need to hurry up for a meeting right now” the woman said and stood up.
“Okay, Hannah. Thanks a lot. I really appreciate”.
“Please, it’s nothing.”
They started walking towards the door and an idea suddenly hit at me.
Becoming a cook!
“Wait!” I popped out of my hiding place and they both turned to look at me.
“Kim? What’s wrong?” Mum asked, probably surprised at the way I shouted
“Um…ma’am Hannah” I called.
“I’m interested in the job”.
