WAEC GCE 2020 Jan/Feb 1st Series Result is Out [How to check it]

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has announced the release of its January/February Collection of This 2020 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for Private Candidates 30 days after the conduct of This examination across the federation.

This was revealed by the Head of West African Examinations Council, WAEC, Nigeria, Mr Olu Olanipekun through a media briefing at Lagos. He additionally stated that candidates are now able to request for the certification online through the Digital Certificate Management System platform.

 

Candidates are to proceed to the official result checking portal: https://www.waecdirect.org/ to check their results.

 

 

How to Check WAEC GCE Result.

1. 1. Go to WAEC result checking portal @ www.waecdirect.org.
   2. Enter your 10-digit WAEC Examination Number.  (This is your 7-Digit centre number followed by your 3-digit candidate number eg. 4123456789)

1. Enter the 4 digits of your Examination Year eg. 2020
2. Select the Type of Examination  i.e. PRIVATE CANDIDATE RESULT
3. Enter the Card Serial Number found on the reverse side of your Scratch card.
4. Enter the Personal Identification Number (PIN) on your Scratch card
5. Click Submit and wait for the results window to come up.

Hint: you can only use your result checker 5 times, so be wise!
