Manufacturing Industry is The branch of manufacture and trade based on the fabrication, processing, or preparation of products from raw materials and commodities. This includes all foods, chemicals, textiles, machines, and equipment.
(i)concentrated in towns;
(ii)mainly import substituting;
(iii)depend on imported machinery/technology;
(iv)mainly light industries
(i)It checks the drift of young people from the rural areas to the towns and cities.
(ii)Labour is likely to be cheaper in the rural areas.
(iii)Transportation and accommodation problems of staff are likely to be less acute.
(iv)The industrial atmosphere would be more peaceful, free from traffic congestion.
(v)Land is likely to be more easily available in the rural areas
(i) speed: air transport is faster than other means of transportation
(ii) freedom from hindrance : aircrafts are free from all forms of surface hindrance such as swam, mountain etc unlike road transport , and the others
(i) air transport is very expensive and all might not be able to afford it
(ii) most aircrafts are only of medium size and cannot take a larger amount of goods
(iii) airports are located in some major centers only
i) the prices of flight in the airport should be reduced so that it can be affordable to all people not only the rich
ii) the size of some aircrafts should be increased to accomodate a large number of people and goods
iii) Areas should be developed for more centers of aircrafts to be created
